I had a dream of being in a train car for a seminar. The train wasn’t moving. I came to listen to someone speak and then people started coming to me for prayer. The one person wasn’t able to function in their call and was unprepared. They followed me around which represents exposing them to a lifestyle of living for God.
Another person came but they needed an ambulance. This person represented good Christians who lived by their own agenda and filled with head knowledge. They needed to die to their agendas and submit to God’s will.
Then the people in the train car said I was going to teach the seminar which was a surprise to me. I was told I would be teaching every session the next day. In this dream, I represent the hidden remnants who have kept their oil lamps filled for the last fifty years. This group have been expecting God to show up to disrupt the world’s system and bring God’s kingdom on earth.
The dream shifted and I was talking to a mature Christian businessman. I told him the key was “What is your heart’s desire?” When you have died to your desires, God’s desires will come to the surface with this question. This question will remove the clutter and reveal God’s path for your life.
The Nobodies, the Feeble, and Foolish in the World’s Eyes!
The remnant has been hidden in the nobodies, the feeble, and the foolish caves of indifference.
1 Corinthians 1:19-20 TPT “For it is written: I will dismantle the wisdom of the wise and I will invalidate the intelligence of the scholars … Hasn’t God demonstrated that the wisdom of this world system is utter foolishness.”
1 Corinthians 1:23-30 TPT “For the ‘foolish’ things of God have proven to be wiser than human wisdom. And the ‘feeble’ things of God have proven to be far more powerful than any human ability.”
Why does God use the foolish and feeble? Because we are dependent on God and the price Jesus paid so we can bring God’s kingdom on earth. The power of God rest on those who they have no power without Jesus.
These caves of “the unimportant individuals” have been the training ground to purify the hearts of the remnant. Their identity is not in their gifting or calling but they are grounded in knowing they are God’s kids. This release them from the jockeying for position in the Body of Christ. God’s kids are all equal. Jesus is the First Born.
Our Identity – God’s Kids!
When Jesus was baptized, God didn’t say this is my Messiah. No, God said, “This is My Son!” The title Messiah was Jesus’ position or function in the Body. We have been confused with different trainings that teach us our gifting and function in the Body of Christ. These teachings were needed to function, but they are not our identity.
We are entering into a season where the hidden remnant is being pushed out of their caves and into positions to influence. God has been purifying a Body of Believers who love God and love people. They have no agenda to promote themselves and are not influenced by the love of money. Are they perfect? No! But what sets them apart is they are willing to be used by God, and they believe in a Big God! All the trials, test, and hardships were to mode them into God’s vessel fit for the Master’s use!
Who is God Calling to Step Out in this Season?
1 Corinthians 1:26-30 TPT “Brothers and sisters, consider who you were when God called you to salvation. Not many of you were wise scholars by human standards, nor were many of you in positions of power. Not many of you were considered the elite when you answered God’s call.”
“But God chose those whom the world considers foolish to shame those who think they are wise, and God chose the puny and powerless to shame the high and mighty.”
“He chose the lowly, the laughable in the world’s eyes—nobodies—so that he would shame the somebodies. For he chose what is regarded as insignificant in order to supersede what is regarded as prominent, so that there would be no place for prideful boasting in God’s presence.”
“For it is not from man that we draw our life but from God as we are being joined to Jesus, the Anointed One.” “And now he is our God-given wisdom, our virtue, our holiness, and our redemption. “And this fulfills what is written: If anyone boasts, let him only boast in all that the Lord has done!”
What is Your Excuse?
When you read the above scriptures, it removes the barriers and excuses for not stepping out in obedience to God’s direction. Many of us have got comfortable living in the background of life. To step out means pressure and opposition. To give a word in public brings criticism and judgment but that is the price required to be used of God. We need to fear God more than man. You can’t kill a dead man. You have already walked through the process of dying to your desires and have become a willing vessel of God. Judgments and criticism against a dead man have no power unless you receive it!
We have waited for years crying out in intercession to see God’s power. This is our season and appointed time. Doors of opportunity are opening. Many of the old doors are shut tight. God has a whole train full of people ready for you to train. A train represents training and God getting the mature Christians in place to train others. Train cars are built to move and transport goods, people, and troops. Are you willing?
Prayer
Father God,
Forgive me for placing my function in the Body of Christ over my identity as God’s kid. Kids have inheritance! I want that inheritance. Shift my thinking and give me the boldness to step out when you open a door of opportunity. I can only step out if Jesus and the Holy Spirit will go with me. Let your love and mercy touch those in my jurisdiction. Keep me in my boundaries. Reveal my heart’s desire to stay focused on the path you have for me. I am coming out of the cave of indifference and allowing this foolish vessel of Christ’s to be used to bring God’s Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Amen!
