What Power Source Are You Plugged Into?

Have you ever asked God, “Where is the power to change lives and circumstances?” I had a dream that caused me to rethink what power source we are plugged into.

In this dream, I was sharing a meal with this family who seemed to believe in God. We were headed to a Christian conference. This couple was talking about shooting down spiritually those who operated in the second heaven. When they said that I thought this was interesting, but this caused me to have a caution about trusting them. Then I noticed their eyes were getting red. I heard Holy Spirit saying, “They are knocking out the second heaven Christians who think they are tapping into the God’s third heaven resources.”

I woke up and said to God, “What is second heaven Christians?” “What is third heaven resources?” This started me on a journey to discover what God was showing me in this dream.

Everyone Has God Given Gifts!

Everyone has gifts, even those who don’t know Christ. It was a seed God placed in us when we were planted in our mother’s womb. Everyone can develop their gifts. Why then do we need Jesus or the Holy Spirit? The source we tap into to develop our gifts is the problem.

The world’s system creates chaos linked with survival, the love of money, or the power of influence. It taps into the second heaven resources empowered by principalities and authorities rooted in the rebellion of the evil one. These resources are empowered by demonic insight.

Second Heaven Power Source!

An example of using your gifts and talents without God is how a psychic can know things about people. They have a gift of discernment, but it is rooted in the world’s system. Because of the wrong source of power, it brings a curse instead of God’s blessing. Many times, it is used to manipulate you to become dependent on them. The psychic is trapped in a cycle of obeying the wrong source. Tapping into the wrong power source can cause an unending cycle of confusion, survival, fear, and anger.

You see this with the women who followed Paul and Silas, proclaiming they were servants of the “most high God.” She used the term “most high God” to show she was serving a lower god. Paul allowed her to follow them for days until he cast a spirit of divination out of her. The reason God had Paul wait to do this act, was to get enough of the Word of God in her to keep her set free. Paul and Silas got into trouble with the religious rulers and the governmental rulers for setting this one lady free. This act, of setting one person free, shifted the culture of the whole city.

God says in Hebrews 13:26 “Once and for all I will not only shake the systems of the world, but also the unseen powers in the heavenly realm!” The Passion Translation.

Another example of second Heaven’s wisdom is the tower of Babel. The people decided to build their own city and make a name for themselves. Their rebellion to build without God, cause the division of nations. If we aren’t careful, we will tap into the wrong power source and create fleshly desires instead of God’s kingdom.

Third Heaven Resource! — Seeing How God Sees!

What are third heaven resources? It is seeing from God’s perspective. It is asking God how he is looking at what is going on in your circumstance. I was talking to God about a situation. He said to me “You are cutting off arms for hang nails?” That was a knife to my heart to think I could be deceived or judged something wrongly. That is when I discovered what I call seeing through God view or God’s Glasses. This lesson taught me to stop and ask God how he was looking at what was going on. It brought me out of my experiences, the world’s wisdom, the second heaven view shouting at me to go the wrong path. Stopping and asking God what he wanted caused me to tap into God’s view and power.

Why is this important? Because the word of God works but if we are using it the wrong way, we create religion. Moses was instructed to strike the rock to release water for his people. The second time water was needed, Moses was told to speak to the rock. Moses was mad at the people, and he struck the rock instead. God brought water but this resulted in Moses not being able to take the Israel into the promise land.

Our understanding of what is happening, and God’s word needs to be directed by Holy Spirit. That is tapping into the third heaven power source. It is simply asking God what he sees and what he wants.

Fruit of Third Heaven Resources!

The kingdom of God’s source is rooted in God’s love and His plan to redeem mankind. This frees you from fearing death, from the survival mode, the love of money, or lust for power. You don’t have to jockey for a position because we are the King’s kids. He has provided a permanent place for us that keeps us safely in God’s love and protection.

Knowing God’s love for you allows the Holy Spirit to develop your gifts. When Holy Spirit comes into your heart because you have accepted Jesus, it creates a direct access to God’s kingdom.

Growing in our gifts is a process of cleaning out the worldly nature with which we were born. This is why the Word of God and asking Holy Spirit for direction is important. When we don’t ask, we can fall into different traps. Peter was warned that he would deny knowing Jesus. Jesus told him to pray. Peter’s pride, about his relationship with Jesus, blinded him and he ended up denying knowing Jesus three separate times. Tapping into his own strength in spiritual testing cause him to not tap into God’s strength to overcome the test.

Holy Spirit and the Word of God corrects us and directs us to walk out God’s best path for our lives. If we aren’t careful, we will tap into the wrong source of power and create fleshly desires instead of God’s kingdom.

Prayer

Father God,

I ask that you keep me from connecting to the wrong power sources. I ask to be connected and rooted in your love and your instruction manual. I ask to see through your perspective. I give you permission to correct, direct, and heal me, so I can be used to release your kingdom on earth. I am willing to be willing to allow your word and Holy Spirit to direct my steps. I trust you and thank you for the price that Jesus paid, amen!

Prayer & Declaration Over You!

In this season of War, the Voice, and Acceleration, I stand-in-the-gap for our people. No weapon formed against them will prosper. I bind lies and deception that have caused Christians to tap into the wrong power source of the second heaven.

I Corinthians 10:3-5 NIV “For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

I ask for Holy Spirit to reveal if we are plugged into any wrong power source like the second heaven and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. I ask that what needs to be shaken will be shaken but God’s kingdom will rise and take its rightful place in our people. This attack meant to destroy God’s gifts in people will be used to release the fear of God and get our people back to the right power source, which is God’s Word, Jesus as our Lord, and empowered by God’s grace through the Holy Spirit.
