Staying in the Right Time Zone!

Have you ever felt out of sync with what is happening around you? The crowd seems to be following a route you have no desire to follow but you are not sure which way to go.

The world’s system has time zones to stay in timing to do their business. Each nation has its national holidays. God’s timing is totally different. He doesn’t have a straight-line time zone that has a start to finish. He sees the beginning from the end. Our Creator’s timing doesn’t worry about being too old. Abraham and Sarah had a baby beyond the child bearing age. Neither does God allow age or parents concern him. Josiah was appointed king at the age of eight and came from a line of wicked kings. Drought doesn’t stop God blessing his people. Isaac planted crops in a major drought and reaped a hundred-fold crop. Lazarus was dead for over three days and Jesus caused life to come back into his body and made him whole. God’s time zone is totally different then the world’s time zone.

When we accept Christ’s sacrifice, we enter a New Time Zone of the Kingdom of God! If we don’t understand this, it can cause us confusion and cause us feel out of sync with the world’s system.

In this kingdom, faith and grace rule. It can be used to by-pass earthly rules. This is why bread can multiply and fish have coins in their mouth to be used to pay taxes. The Bible is the instruction manual. The Holy Spirit is our trusted guide, gives us encouragement, and our power source. Jesus is our King, Shepherd, and Brother. The man-made religious systems mix the world’s system with a limited understanding of God’s word. Just as Elisha’s servant couldn’t see the army of God. Many of us have no understanding of God’s kingdom.

Prayer

Father God, I ask for our eyes to be open that we might see and enter into the Kingdom of God. I am trusting all who reads these words will enter into the Kingdom of God’s Time Zone. They will be empowered by Holy Spirit to walk in faith and grounded in the love of God. Because Jesus provided the way, the truth, and the freedom to overcome the world’s system, amen!
