Does Anyone Hear Me?

I was asking God why there were so many mass shootings. This is what I heard.

People feel they have no voice. All the voices shouting on television, Facebook, the news networks, etc. are drowning out people’s voices. People feel their voice is like shouting in the wind where only they hear themselves. This creates an echo chamber that isolates people more and amplifies their fears. People want to be remembered. They want to feel their life matters.

How do we restore people’s voices? Jesus’s death on the cross removed the isolation of sin that separated us from God. Our position changes from hoping God hears us to knowing God hears us.

Jesus restores our voices on all different levels. First, we have a God connection. Why? We are now God’s kids when we accept Jesus’s sacrifice. As children of God, we have freedom to go before our Father God with all our wants and needs. Our position changed from being an accidental big bang creation to a King’s kid!

Second, we are now connected to Holy Spirit, who never leaves us. He comforts, directs, and helps develop the gifts God has placed in us. Third, Jesus is the living Word of God who conquered all the roadblocks that try to steal our voice. His investment in us, empowers us to make an impact in our circle of influence.

Do you want a voice? God has a place for you to be heard. Do you want to have influence? You have it with God because of the price Jesus paid.

The foolishness of the cross, that Jesus died on for you, is the power of God. When Jesus rose from the dead and took the keys of death, it gave us back our voice. It is a voice that not only can influence our lives on this earth, but it has a voice that effects eternity.

Freedom, peace, and a voice of influence is yours if you are willing to accept the foolishness of the cross. Are you willing to enter into a kingdom that can shake nations?

Here is the door you need to walk through.

Father God,

Help! I have messed up and I am lost in this world’s mess. I need Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Forgive me and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I want all you have to offer. Thank you!

Welcome to the family! I hear you! Find out what God instruction manual says by reading the Bible. It will help you find your place in the Body of Christ which includes your purpose, gifts, and destiny.

  1. This is such a beautiful Word! As a mom, business owner, coach, etc. I often wonder if anyone hears me. The world is clamoring for attention but what a beautiful reminder that we have the opportunity to have an audience with the King of the Universe. Not as a servant but a beloved child. This is such a transformative Word! Thank you, Ruth! Thank you referencing the scripture as well!

The “world” often distracts us from our inheritance.
Help us Lord to stay connected to you knowing that YOU always hear our voice

  3. Being heard is a necessity for every human.  And yet with all the social
media we are more isolated than ever.  Praise God He always hears!
