Getting Off the Merry-Go-Round of an Imploding World System!

As I watch the news, it seems like a floodgate has been opened to change the moral compass of nations. The last five years has caused much division between skin color, rich and poor, religion and non-believers, political parties, and many other issues.  Many people are confused and unsure of what to do in this cultural of backstabbing and injustices.

Many times, when there are cultural shifts in attitudes, it seems the pendulum swings from one extreme to another. We went from political dividing comments to an uncompromising stance on our agendas. We started dealing with unjust treatment of certain people groups to now thinking all people are raciest. People are reactive instead of proactive. We react to the changes after it is too late to do anything. No place seems safe. We have repented for our past and for the past sins of our ancestor. We have prayed and fasted, but things seem to gotten worse. All of this seems like a puff of wind with no rain in a time of drought. Help Lord! What can we do?

Hear No Evil – See No Evil – Speak No Evil!

As I was talking to some friends, I saw an emerging pattern from the last five or six years of the traumatic events taking place in our countries. The year 2020, per the Hebraic calendar, was the Year of the Voice. All the fighting between political parties, the rioters, law enforcement clashes, and the fight over elections had many people voicing their opinions and desires that it made your head spin. People’s opinions were like a club beating everyone into submission to their agenda and viewpoint. When you disagreed or tried to bring a voice of reason, you were accused of being racist and unloving. This slowly cause many people with a voice of reason to withdraw from the fray.

You would send an email and get no reply. You would call and leave a message, and no one would call you back. This wasn’t just friends and family, but it was in businesses and governmental offices. The Covid virus had shut down restaurants, offices, schools, and nursing homes. This year of the voice was shut down to a murmur behind closed doors.

I was asking God what was happening that people were not communicating with each other. I heard, in my spirit, that it is a “deaf and dumb spirit.” I thought, how in the world did a “deaf and dumb spirit” start ruling our lives. Then I saw the picture of three monkeys. One had its hand over its mouth, the other had a hand over its eyes, and the third monkey had his hands over his ears. These traumatic events have created an atmosphere that caused God’s people to remove themselves from controversy.

The year 2021, in the Hebraic calendar, is the year to break the curse and the speaking mouth. God is using these traumatic events to reset our mouth and thinking. We need to hear and see what God wants and not our own opinions or religious viewpoints. We need to have the clutter removed from our past experiences and see what God has for this season.

Getting Off the Merry-Go-Round!

How do we get off the merry-go-round of seeing the world imploded?

Jesus didn’t look at the world’s systems of government and all the chaos. Jesus was always focused on God, who directed his steps. It might look like the world is winning but God is playing the long game. He sees the future and has plans that by-pass the world’s systems.

When we look at the world’s playing field we lose. We are like dogs chasing our own tails. Just going in circles while the world marches on with their agenda. While we put our finger on the hole in the dam, the foundation of the dam has been cracked. What we are doing won’t stop the flood.

It sounds pretty hopeless, but it is not! The government structures may be destroyed but God is not shocked or caught off guard. Maybe this is what needs to happen to shake off the shackles of the world’s system and cause us to enter into the fullness of God’s kingdom.

We cry out for miracles and for God to intervene. Miracles come when we are at the end of our human resources. They come when the enemy is greater than our forces. All this chaos and pressure is not to crush us but to position us for God’s best!

Seeing God’s Kingdom!

The kingdom of God is like a world that exist outside the world system. It is where Jesus is King, and God is our Father. We get to live by different rules. Jesus walked in God’s kingdom while living in the world. Not enough bread, then he multiplies bread and fish to feel the hungry. No doctor to heal, then he brings healing to the sick. No tax money, then a fish supplies the coin to pay the tax. Angry crowds who want to push Jesus off a cliff, he just walks away, and no one can touch him.

All this pressure is to shift us into relying on a kingdom that can’t be shaken. Don’t you yearn for the world’s yoke to be removed? Aren’t you tired of playing a game that is rigged for you to lose? Luke 10:17-21 TPT talks about having authority over this world. In verse ten it says, “However, your real source of joy isn’t merely that these spirits submit to your authority, but that your names are written in the journals of heaven and that you belong to God’s kingdom. This is the true source of your authority.”

When we ask Jesus for help, this will bring his kingdom into the world’s culture. When chaos surrounds you, don’t move until you ask Jesus what to do. When there are storms in life, wait and don’t jump ship until you can see Jesus on the water saying come. His presence brings peace in the storms of life. He opens doors to solutions that are impossible in the natural because his kingdom is greater than this world.

It is hard to wait when all hell is breaking loose but if you want to overcome then you need to ask Jesus what to do. God’s kingdom works differently than what we see happening right now. It isn’t based on accumulating things and finances. It is giving when you only have a little. Then it multiplies. It is praising God when all looks lost. Wait when you want to run. Run when you want to wait. Loving those who hate you has the power to turn a Saul into a Paul.

When we view the world systems through the kingdom of God view. We then turn the burden of things that need changed over to God to accomplish. In Genesis, the tower of Babel was a people united to bring a self-focused system into the world. God divided the languages to separate them. We are at an opportune time to become one voice and one body of believers to bring God’s kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

Genesis 11:6-7 says, “But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower the people were building. The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language, they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.”

Nothing was impossible for them! This is a key to conquering worldly systems. When we unite as one people believing in Jesus and asking for his kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven, we become one voice.

A Prayer Over You!

Father God,

I lift up these precious ones to you. Because Jesus gave us authority to bind and lose, I bind the deaf, dumb, and blind spirit that has attached itself to us. I ask that you forgive us for allow the world to cause us to be quiet when we needed to speak. I release God’s boldness, wisdom, and discernment to know God’s timing to speak or be quiet, I ask for God’s peace over everyone who reads these words. Protect them, guide them to know your voice. Allow their gifts to grow and expand as they grow in your love and wisdom. Amen!

Prayer

Father God,

Help us to see how you see. Jesus, you walked victorious in this world, help us to walk in the same victory you provided for us. Remove the veil that covers our eyes that cause us to see the world instead of seeing your kingdom. Holy Spirit empower us and give us God’s wisdom to walk in the kingdom of God instead of the world’s cycle of destruction. We are choosing to trust you even in the mist of the storms of life. We choose to walk in your kingdom and ask that you removed all that would stop us from entering into this kingdom. We say, “Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Forgive us for our mistakes, distrust, and relying on our own abilities. We are choosing your path to life and victory. Because of Jesus, amen!

Scripture

Revelation 17:15; Isaiah 17:12-13 (mountains are symbol of government; Psalm 46:2); Exodus 15 (Red Sea parting and destroying enemies); Matthew 14:13-18 (no food); Mark 5:25-32; Matthew 17:27; Luke 4:29; 2 Kings 4 (no provision); 2 Corinthians 9:6-11; Matthew 8:23-27; Mark 4:11; Luke 4:43; 1 Corinthians 4:20; Matthew 6:5-14; Genesis 11.

Note: Prayer and repentance does work! But there is more to walking in God’s kingdom than these tools. These are the beginning of the process.
