Resetting Our Focus from Chaos to Kingdom

God used the Cain and Abel incident to place boundaries. I am not saying it was right for Cain to kill Able, but God used it to separate people and create boundaries. You have to have boundaries in the world to protect people.

The Power of Unity
A good example of the power of being united in one voice is the Tower of Babel. They had one language and was fearful that they would be scattered over the face of the earth. They were united to build their own kingdom with their own hands. That is what making bricks with our own hand symbolizes. God even said that nothing was impossible for these people because of the unity and having the same voice or language. Then God scattered them to stop the building the tower.

Kingdom Focus
In the kingdom of God there are no boundaries. We are all one in Christ. But the key is “in Christ.” It is not in this church denomination, or in this country, or because of my race. Jesus knew the power of unity. He said things like if he is not against us, he is for us. That a house divided against itself will not stand. What kept the apostles unified? Unity is not around a religion, but a person and that person is Jesus. It is a kingdom where God rules and reigns. It by-passes the world’s system of stealing, killing, and destroying. It taps into a life of abundance provision.

Entrance into this kingdom abundance is Jesus, who is the Passover Lamb. You cannot enter in because of your church denomination, race, culture, or agreement of principles. It is based on Jesus who died to give us his kingdom.

One Voice for God’s Kingdom to Come!

Think about this! Jesus said to pray “your kingdom come; your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Do you think there is riots, burning buildings, trashed out police stations in heaven? No! There are trees for every type of disease and rivers filled with abundant life. Each person has their own place to live.

Just imagine if we united in prayer and declared “Your kingdom come; your will be done!” God asked the prophet, Jeremiah, “If you can find but one person who deals honestly and seeks the truth, I will forgive this city.” If one person can be used to save a city, what would happen if we united by focusing on Jesus and his kingdom.

Chuck Pierce, in his book The Passover Prophecies, we have entered a new kingdom era in 2020. We are moving from a church era to a kingdom of God era. You want to change the world around you? Then we need to focus on God’s kingdom and not on the world chaos.

Prayer
“Our Father, dwelling in the heavenly realms, may the glory of your name be the center on which our lives turn. Manifest your kingdom realm and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is fulfilled in heaven.   We acknowledge you as our Provider of all we need each day. Forgive us the wrongs we have done as we ourselves release forgiveness to those who have wronged us. Rescue us every time we face tribulation and set us free from evil. For you are the King who rules with power and glory forever. Amen.”

  1. Thanks Ruth that is really great. I love the prayer you wrote. I woke up this morning praying The Lords Prayer. I have a lot of thoughts going on in my head. I want Truth is what I was telling the lord this morning. I listened to someone last night. He said God has done everything He is going to do. I have heard that teaching before. I don’t remember where. I had trouble with it then and still do now. I have also been thinking about my dream and giving the Lord my contract. How from the Dream lately I have just been spending time with the Lord. Wanting to talk with Him and seeking Him for truth. In the word He says Holy Spirit the Comforter will be counsel us. I guess I have gotten confused I was asking the Lord if I was really in His presence as I thought I was. That same preacher that I mentioned above says just ask once , you don’t have to keep asking and beg. Maybe listening to this preacher I feel God is in a box. Also he talks about when you go somewhere being sent by an Apostle. I guess I feel the Lord can send me. I don’t have a problem with being sent by Chuck. I guess I feel we have not always had or know Apostle s and had them in our lives. I wondered if you have any thoughts on these things Blessings Mickey

    1. I believe God is presences is always with us but at times we need to feel Him to connect better. There are times when God wants to make Himself known at a greater level and we can feel His presence different. Even when we are in a group of people, the presence of God can be greater. But He is always with us. It is nice that apostles can sent people out from the church mountain. But when you are assigned to other mountains of influence, the church mountain does not always have the authority to send you out. The greatest mountain, which is over all the seven mountains is Jesus’s Kingdom mountain. This means to me, if you are walking in God’s kingdom and He gives you an assignment, then He provides the authority and anointing required to accomplish God’s purpose. As far as asking God more than once, it depends on your heart. Until you have the peace of God, you may be wrestling against spiritual forces that are meant to stop God’s will. Daniel did this and won. You keep asking until you have an answer or have the peace of God which means you are in faith. The preacher you mentioned may be talking about people asking over and over again because they are basing their faith on how much they confess or do. This is what many religious people are taught to do. It is good to hear from you. I hope this answers your questions. Be blessed!

  2. Yes, indeed our focus should be on Jesus Christ and not on our environment. Thank you for your timely words. They are appreciated.
