When I feel a shift in the spirit, I get restless. I can’t stay where I am at, but I am not sure what is next. It would be like being in the last few weeks of pregnancy. You want your new baby or prayers answered in our case, but you are crankier, your hormones are shifting, and you are very uncomfortable.
Most of us are unaware that we are picking up future changes in our lives. We haven’t been trained to understand why we are restless and unsettled. It can be like an itch we can’t scratch. You will remember this feeling of restlessness when we were kids, and it was the last week of school. All we wanted was to get out of school and be outdoors.
Welcome to Transformation for the Future!
Many times, we will counteract those feelings by ignoring them, going on a buying spree, maybe on an eating binge or other coping behaviors. You can either focus on discomfort or prepare for the future. A few ways to go through this transformation are by wrapping up loose ends, getting rid of the unnecessary things, and asking God to prepare you for this change.
Transformation requires a shift in our thinking and a choice to step out of the boat when Jesus says come. Some of us try to step out of the boat and sink because we don’t wait for Jesus to say “come!” Others stay in the boat because of the high waves that might slap us down. Storms break out to stop us from getting to the other side for our destiny. Jesus allows us to be in the boat to reveal the fears that are holding us back from God’s path. When storms or transformation comes, look for Jesus. Face your fears and invite Jesus into your situation. This opens the door to your future and invites Jesus into your destiny.

good word. Change is hard but Jesus is Good. I pray we all hear and move at his timing.
