A New Season of Many Hats!

During Covid, it was a season of walking through swamps. You had to be careful where you stepped and what you said. Then we entered the season of riding a surfboard. You had to catch the wave and learn to walk in a balanced way.

Now we are in the season it seems like we are taking one step forward then another step in another direction. We never seem to get to the next step.  God gave me a dream of this next season of many hats

Dream

I was with people who were treating me like family. It seemed like I was in a bedroom, and I had just gotten up. People were saying come down for breakfast. I was looking around for my clothes. I wasn’t sure what to put on to go downstairs. I was looking around undecided or unsure of what I needed to wear.

Thoughts

• I realized while writing this dream up that this layout of the bedroom was like the one, I grew up in while living in small town in Pennsylvania.
• I was part of a group that wanted me to join them for breakfast. It kind of felt like family but not blood relatives.
• Clothes represent covering or identity. When I couldn’t decide what to put on it had to do with identity.

Interpretation – Word

In this season, you will be wearing many different outfits. There will be things familiar and uncertain. This is not to bring confusion but an opportunity to invite Me on your daily walk. Your identity is the same as I placed in you as a child but in this season of many hats you will need to be flexible and wear the hat that is needed at that time. The season of “I am this” or “I have this call” is over. It is a “in season” and “out of season” time when you will need to shift with Holy Spirit to take advantage of the opportunity in front of you. This is the path of the supernatural, but many will not like the out of control feeling this season brings to them. If you are willing to walk this path, I will be with you and release you all you need. Those who dare to step out of the boat will begin seeing the Kingdom’s supernatural walk I have prepared them to walk. Trust Me and invite Me into this new season to walk with you.

2 Timothy 4:2-5 TPT “proclaim the Word of God and stand upon it no matter what! Rise to the occasion and preach when it is convenient and when it is not. Preach in the full expression of the Holy Spirit —with wisdom and patience as you instruct and teach the people.

For the time is coming when they will no longer listen and respond to the healing words of truth because they will become selfish and proud. They will seek out teachers with soothing words that line up with their desires, saying just what they want to hear. They will close their ears to the truth and believe nothing but fables and myths. So be alert to all these things and overcome every form of evil. Carry in your heart the passion of your calling…”

Prayer and Declaration

Father God,

Forgive us for trying to receive an identity that was not Your original intent. Help us to step out of the box of our own thinking and boxes others have placed us into. We want to be able to step out of the boat when You say come. We need an upgrade in the gift of discernment to know which hat to wear. We ask that you disrupt our routine, and we invite You to guide our path. We want the supernatural kingdom of God life to help others find Jesus. Because of Jesus and empowered by Holy Spirit, amen!
