How God’s Kingdom Changes the Culture of the World!

There has been released a spirit of seduction that presents a shortcut to our goals. The world presents an avenue of fulfilling your destiny without the cost. This happened to Jesus when Satan offered him the world.

When working in the world, Matthew 10:16 TPT says, “Now, remember, it is I who sends you out, even though you feel vulnerable as lambs going into a pack of wolves. So be as shrewd as snakes yet as harmless as doves.”

There are warnings to not partnership with the world but at the same time there are warnings to not isolate ourselves from the world. How do you balance these two concepts without compromising God’s word?

Key Points

  • Jesus only did what the Father showed him. We need to ask God what he wants and not rely on our knowledge or experiences.
  • In God’s kingdom we represent Jesus not the organizations we are tied to. We are submitted to authority in these organizations but outside the gates, we may be called to step outside their protocol. Some examples of this are: When Jesus talked to the Samarian women at the well with no one around to protect him from rumors. Jesus spat on the ground and made mud to heal a blind man was outside the normal parameters of religion. The Bible is always our guiding light quicken by the Holy Spirit.

When we have assignments in the world, the protocol looks different. In the book of Daniel chapter two, Nebuchadnezzar had a dream that his astrologers, the magicians, and the soothsayers could not interpret. The dream was hidden. God revealed the dream to Daniel who gave Nebuchadnezzar the meaning. This not only saved Daniel’s life, but it saved the magicians, the soothsayers, and the astrologers. Daniel made sure this ruler knew that he wasn’t the source of the interpretation, but it was God who revealed this truth.

Daniel, as an ambassador for God, sought God’s wisdom, spoke for God, and gave God the glory. Later, the king had another dream that was a warning of the king’s pride. Daniel did not compromise the truth and he showed the king a way out of the judgment. Acting as an ambassador instead of a judge caused Daniel to serve six different kings (Daniel 11:1-7). What a powerful influence he was as God’s spokesman.

So, how do you do business in the world without becoming entangled in wrong partnerships? Don’t make investments over what you can pay. When you buy a home, you should be able to sell that home to pay off the debt if necessary. Do you have enough collateral to cover if for some reason you default? It might be that what you are building will produce a future income which will become collateral.

Just be sure it is what God wants you to invest in and not a trap setup as a shortcut to your destiny or goal.

Prayer

Father God, I bind all spirits of seduction from me and my circle of influence. I ask for the best path to accomplish your will on the earth. I desire to represent you and your kingdom. Keep me from all traps that the enemy has set before me. I ask for discernment to know when to say no and when to say yes. It isn’t by my strength, ability or knowledge that causes me to expand your kingdom, but it is by your grace and power provide through the price Jesus paid. Amen!
