You can take a man out of poverty but he won’t stay out of poverty without a mindset change.
You attract what you think you are. Drug users attract other drug users. Alcoholics attract other alcoholics. Trauma victims draw in their circle other trauma victims. Many times, this is why you see people join clubs. Not all of these are bad clubs. They help people survive and feel safe.
God’s word changes your heart or cord belief which enables you to rewire your brain to who God says you are. Then when you step out of poverty, you remain out of poverty.
Here is an example of what I am meaning. I have survived cancer two times in my life. I am a cancer survivor, but that isn’t my identity. It is what I went through. My identity is I am healed and God loves me. If I just focus on surviving, I never step-into what God has for my future. I am stuck in the land of surviving.
Ask God to remove the traumas you have walked through. Then ask Him how he sees you. This will bring you into God’s kingdom with unlimited possibilities for your future.
May you see who God created you to be and may you reach your full potential.
