The Path of Life

As we focus on the path God has for us, it will lead us to life and not death. Don’t get distracted by the “1 Where’s Waldo?” game that the world is playing. The point of the Waldo game is to find the character named Waldo among a crowd of people in different settings. You get so focused on finding this person that you don’t see the big picture.

With all the distractions of the events happening in our world, it is easy to get overwhelmed and feel hopeless. Our hope is not in a world system or a political party. Our hope is in the price Jesus paid for us, not only as Savior, but as overcomers.

This separation that has come to the United States is a worldwide division of goats and sheep. God is taking the world system out of us. This is causing us to setup our own lines of communication, and boycotting shows, media, and websites. Without the isolation of the Covid-19 virus, we may have continued down the path of sleeping while the house is on fire. This is a wake-up call to Christians to see how the rapture escape mentality has caused us to hide in our caves.

Jesus fought the political and religious structures of his day by focusing on releasing the Kingdom of God on earth. He didn’t riot or pull weapons on people when they tried to push him off a cliff. He just walked away from a crowd filled with hate. They could not touch him because he walked in the love of God and stayed focus on God’s plan for his life.

We need to go back to the basic of reading scriptures and trusting God. Then we will get action plans on how to overcome the systems of the world.

Prayer

Father God,

Forgive me for allowing the world’s chaos to distract me from your plans for my life and nation. I know you are bigger than the events happening around me. I ask for your grace and mercy to walk through these events. I ask for your peace and wisdom. Help me to keep focus on your word and show me how to be more than an overcomer. Any worldly ways that have entered into my life, I ask that you remove them. I trust that Jesus made a way for me and I chose to walk the path he has made. Thank you for the Holy Spirit, who empowers me to see the whole truth and gives me the strength to do the right things. Amen!
